Welcome to my professional portfolio. My name is Jason Quillin and I am an undergraduate student in the School of Education at Indiana University. My undergraduate studies are focused on three areas of Social Studies for Secondary Education students; U.S. History, Economics and Psychology. My goal for teaching is to actively engage students in learning the reasons and perspectives of the events and decisions that have made history. I also seek to structure my classes into a more discussion format to hopefully have the students talking to and educating each other more than myself as the teacher so they can learn how to become a stronger participant in the school and eventually the country. Included in this portfolio are brief descriptions of how I will aim to meet NETS/ISTE standards, a resume, documents from undergraduate studies and a brief teaching philosophy. Enjoy!
