Please note, as the hotel is located on the banks of the River Thames, parents should ensure children are suitably supervised when exploring the hotel grounds. In addition, those planning to become well acquainted with the hotel bar, should take extra care when negotiating the venue grounds.

By train

Frequent services to Maidenhead operate out of London Paddington. From Maidenhead station, the hotel is a ten minute taxi journey.

By car

The hotel car park provides ample parking.

Important note:  'Monkey Island Lane' on the A308 is a somewhat overgrown and pothole ridden lane and is not suited to motor vehicles. We recommend accessing the hotel via ‘Old Mill Lane’ from Bray village.

Directions from St. Joseph's Church

Turn left out of the church car park onto Cookham Road. At the Sainsbury's roundabout, take 1^st exit onto A4 towards Slough. At the next roundabout, take 3rd exit towards Bray. Continue on at the next roundabout. At the T junction, turn right towards Bray. Continue through Bray until you reach the village hall. After the village hall, and opposite The Crown pub, turn left into Old Mill Lane.  At the crossroads, continue along Old Mill Lane. Shortly after the bridge over the motorway and just prior to the pink house, turn left into the Monkey Island Hotel car park.

Directions from M4 junction 8/9

At the roundabout, take the exit signposted A308(M) Maidenhead Central. At the next roundabout take the third exit, signposted A308 Windsor/Bray. Just prior to the M4 underpass turn left into Upper Bray Road towards Bray Village on the B3028. As you approach the village, take the first turning right into Old Mill Lane (opposite The Crown pub). At the crossroads, continue on along Old Mill Lane. Shortly after the bridge over the motorway and just prior to the pink house, turn left into Monkey Island Hotel car park.
