The Crew

Swarthy seadogs one 'n' all

Jarvist Frost

Skipper & only crew for the entire 6months.

Finishing his Physics degree in June 2006,  he hopes to do something involving boats and water until at least December.

A lifetime spent living and holidaying on the coast, all his spare time has been spent on the sea. When he moved to London to go to University, he left the sea for the allure of Limestone, becoming President of Imperial College Caving Club for two years running from autumn 2004.

He's sailed Fantana since his father  bought it 2000, with over 3500nm & 1000+hrs at sea, mostly on dual-handed trips between Dover & the Isles of Scilly.

El-Tet

Maths teacher at a respectable public school by day, expedition cavers & general outdoor bod during his rather extensive holidays.

Shall be making the journey from Dover to ~Dakar as the main component of the crew from June to August.

Tom Tibbits

Tom has been sailing for many years, mostly with his father & skippering for ICYC. Noted for his many hats & green-working green-living lifestyle. Shall be flying out to ~Dakar in October, and sailing to some Eastern Atlantic Island chain.

James Parkin

James has been sailing since he was 16, doing his bit for ICYC as captain & chair in succesive years. Graduating this year, he's also taking a mini gap year to escape onto the high seas.
