Jarida Crafts is a social enterprise that provides hand-made crafts to our customers and employment opportunities and service for our community.
Our Key Challenges
Luck with exposure of internal world market We believe, given a chance, people will appreciate our products and creativity.
Luck in an exchange programme with other artist We believe it can improve our ideas and thus expand our creativity; we well come anyone who wish to help.
Luck with information on international exhibitions We need ideas and information because it is difficult to communicate via computer which is now basic for business; most of our youths do not know how to use computers.
Luck with enough funds to buy affordable, quality paints Given quality paints, we believe can really improve our art and quality.
Our Successes
Through great effort, Jarida Crafts expanded across borders like those shared with Uganda and Tanzania; we supply products to the duty free shops in East Africa airports.
We have individual friends who sell our crafts all over the world, including America, France, Germany and in different parts of Africa.
We have opened several branches locally in Kenya (Kisumu, Nairobi) and Uganda.
Our crafts now kept us together as a group, and we are inspired by what we are doing.
There are hopes of improving our marketing, and we have worked hard to overcome our many obstacles.
