Drop-Off and Pick-Up

  • Please carpool and use the lower parking lot (we try to reserve the upper lot for staff)The camp speed limit is 10 mph and will be enforced.
  • If you are not staying, please make sure that you drop off your son in the upper parking lot. For the safety of all scouts, escort the boys to their leader if you are not staying in camp. Do not drop scouts off outside of camp.
  • There are six color groups. Locate you son's Pack number on the large registration sign, it is written on a particular color foam. This color is your son's color group for the week. Go to the color coordinated flag. Several Packs will be gathering around each colored flag. Locate your Pack's Day Camp leaders to drop your son off. This location is where he will be at the end of the day and where he will go each morning.
  • Adult pack leaders must take attendance.  Attendance sheets are located in your Pack folder.  Send one leader to the Registration Table to get the Pack registration folder and your Pack's ziplock bag, containing your schedule, map, pen, swim tags etc. One leader for the pack or group will bring the Pack folder(s) for their pack/group to the morning Leaders Meeting following the opening.
  • Each pack is responsible for the scouts in their pack.  Be sure that all boys in your pack have been picked up by their parent or guardian or car pool, before your Pack Day Camp leader leaves camp at the end of the day.
  • No after camp care is provided. Make arrangement for your son to have a ride home.
  • Please make sure that the adults responsible for the Scouts in your pack, know that you have picked your son up at the end of the day. It is very frightening when the leadership doesn't know that a Cub has been picked up and can't locate that Cub.
  • Should you need to pick-up your son during the day, please send a note. That note will be placed in the Pack Attendance folder and then your Pack's leaders and the camp staff will be aware that you will be picking him up early.
  • Send a note if someone different will be picking your son up.
  • Send a note if there is a situation where someone is prohibited from picking your son up.
  • Absent? Please inform your Pack Day Camp Coordinator if your son will be absent. If an absence isn't reported, someone from your Pack must call to confirm the whereabouts of that Scout. All Scouts registered for camp must be accounted for.
