Free Vocabulary Sheets

These vocabulary sheets include words that are encountered in conversation and reading material. Though not specifically chosen for standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS, the vocabulary lists are helpful in preparing for such tests. The words are categorized by subject so as to be more useful. 

Many of the oral and written questions on standardized tests are about common contemporary issues, such as education, environmentalism, hobbies, etc. Test takers should be able to recall groups of words related to each topic so they can use more specialized vocabulary when answering oral or written questions. Since there are so many words in each unit, I suggest you use the list as a reference and not try to memorize them.
