My name is Janet Taggart and I'm an English Education major at Stony Brook University. I attended Shoreham -Wading River School District and have lived there my whole life. I
attended Suffolk Community College for two years as a Liberal Arts major and transitioned to Stony Brook University after receiving my Associate's degree. I decided
to specialize in English Education because I love to read, write, and work with kids. I'm currently a senior and work as a part-time nanny in Southampton over the weekend. Come
January 2009, I will be student teaching at Patchogue-Medford. After I receive my Bachelor's degree, I plan on studying for a Master's in reading at St. Joseph's College.
