Gauge: 36 stitches and 40 rows = 4” Directions With MC cast on 160 stitches. Place marker and join. Work in K2 P2 rib until piece measures 1” from beginning. Round 1: With MC, knit 1 round, increasing 8 stitches evenly across round (168 stitches). Rounds 2-9: Work 8 rows of Pattern A Round 10: With MC, knit 1 round Rounds 11-16: Work 6 rows of Pattern B.
