Who Am I?

I am a  Professional Development Specialist, working with secondary teachers at McKnight Middle School and Hazen High School.  I am a mentor and facilitator focusing on collaborating with teachers to implement the district initiatives aimed at improving student learning. My background includes teaching elementary students,  being the  Applied Learning Teacher Specialist for the Shoreline School District and coaching K-12 teachers with lessons, projects and ideas to integrate technology in their programs.

My Educational Goals :

To support teachers to continually look at best practices to improve instruction and student involvement in their learning.  I also am a strong believer in infusing technology  with a Project Based Learning approach.  The documents and links I have included  on this website will provide ideas towards these means.
