Portrait Price List 2011 This is a
general list of some common sizes and prices. There are various factors in
commissioning a Portrait, including the suitability of the subject to the size.
Therefore it is always a good idea to have a no obligation discussion of your
requirements. Many other variations are
available and prices in a close radius will not vary much. Where it says
not applicable, the size is not suited to the medium in my opinion, so not generally
offered. The prices given refer to all subjects other than human. Note: Because humans are the most complex subjects to paint, please add 25% to the price when ordering a human subject. See beneath the table for more info on additional subjects etc and payment terms available.
Extra Subjects For each extra subject in the same Portrait, add 30% for human and 25% for animals for the first subject.Each extra subject thereafter at 20% for either. Please note sizes below 14" x 18" are not really suited to more than one subject. Backgrounds Portraits are done with a standardly mottled or toned background to complement the subject. You can choose your own colours if you prefer at no extra cost. For landscape, scenic or internal backgrounds such as the one on the large Home Page Portrait, there would be an extra cost depending on complexity. This would usually be between £30 and £50. Payment Terms There is a 25% deposit to begin the work and am happy for you to spread payments over a time scale you are comfortable with where so desired. I know having an original Art work is a bit of a luxury but I believe also it is one of the best investments you can make both emotionally and financially in terms on long term pleasure and value. All my work is fully and unconditionally guaranteed, so in the unlikely event that you are not happy and I cannot fix this, I will refund the deposit and any other monies paid. You can pay by Credit Cards through Paypal as well and I highly recommend getting a Paypal account if you don't have one.
