The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) joined up with the Women’s Cancer Research Fund to help women suffering from cancer and prevent others undergoing the same fate. What’s been great about the merging of these two organizations for such a worthy cause, is the quality of the women who have joined the group, such as founding members Jamie Tisch and Kate Capshaw. It is a group of strong, powerful women, battling to end the suffering female cancer sufferers have to endure. The EIF was established “on the belief that the entertainment industry was in a unique position to truly help others.”
Basically, because there are many organizations in Hollywood which give generously to many charities, the EIF set out to bring these together “in order to maximize the amount of charitable dollars raised annually, and guarantee that worthy charities receive these contributions.” WCRF founding members Jamie Tisch, Kelly Chapman Meyer, Marion Laurie, Anne Douglas and Quinn Ezralow have welcomed the work of the EIF for the WCRF. |
