Getting Ahead
"The only reason that High school students seem to want to receive good grades is because of the pressure they receive from home, which of course is a good thing"1. There are many obstacales that high school student must face as they are getting ready to graduate their senior years as well as what life will be like once graduated. There are several steps is takes to achieve greatness in high school and getting into a good college, especially one that a student will be attending for four years, or more. In high school, there are several things students must consider during their time there. Things like doing homework, doing homework, and applying for the FAFSA are just a few that effects the outcome of like.
Working hard consistantly throughout school will open up a lot of doors for the future. In order to get good grades, students need to study hard. In order to study hard, they need to pay attention in class, so they know how to do that homework assigned that night. Also, staying on top of the homework assigns will ensure not falling behind in the class. It is an on going cycle that continues, and always leads back to the same thing. "Attend every class and pay attention in order to get good grades in high school. If you are not getting enough sleep, you are probably not getting the most out of every class. So go to bed earlier and get enough sleep so that you will already have absorbed most of the information while in class."2 It is important to take the proper precausions when studying for school, and doing the homework, but it is important to be doing it correctly so you can retain the assignment.
In order to get into a good college, you will need to get good grades. Because you got good grades in high school, there is a high and likely chance of getting into a good college. Many families do not have the money, especially in this economy, to pay entirely for the expense of college. Thus, many people apply for financial aid, or in other words, apply for the FAFSA. "The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The application is used to determine the dollar amount you or your family will be expected to contribute towards college. All federal grant and loan awards are determined by the FAFSA, and nearly all colleges use the FAFSA as the basis for their own financial aid awards. "3 The sooner what FAFSA is filled out, the more money a student gets for college. Because a student applies for finacial aid as early as possible, the student will get more money for college.
By doing homeworks and studying, students can graduate and get into college. To get into college, student should apply for finanialy aid. Finally, now that the student has made it to college, one must decide what they are going to do with that opportunity. By going to college, it opens up variously career opportunities. "Your business degree can be applied to virtually any industry and can also be used to help you start your own business."4 By getting a degree, it helps finding a career faster, because a lot of businesses looking to hire are look for either people with a degree, and has studied the industry or they are looking for work experiance.
There are so many positive effects on getting goods grades, and it will open up so many opportunities for students. By doing will in school, that will by motivation to get into a good college. Once in college, it should get students to start thinking about their life, and what career path they will choose to follow. "Never fear the want of business. A man who qualifies himself well for his calling, never fails of employment."5
