Welcome to my professional web page.  I'm currently a graduate student working with Dr. Bradley Peterson at the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at SUNY Stony Brook.  My research interests include seagrass genetics and genomics and using population genetics of seagrasses to aid in conservation and transplantation efforts.  Last year I took a leave of absence as I travelled the globe as the 2008 North American Rolex Scholar.  My outside interests include SCUBA, surfing, rowing and sailing.  Please feel free to contact me through the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences or email me by clicking the hyperlink below.
