 I teach politics at Goldsmiths, University of London, UK, and have interests in Continental European thought and rhetoric. I have published work on Italian thinkers and on aspects of contemporary radical political theory. I am particularly interested in the rhetorical dimension of politics and its significance for political theory and analysis. I convene the 'Rhetoric and Politics' specialist group of the UK Political Studies Association and I am also co-director of the Goldsmiths Centre for the Study of Global Media and Democracy which runs numerous events throughout the year.
