After James and Sandra Dingle decided to make a difference to their personal ecological footprints, their first action was to enquire about a Prius Hybrid car at the local Albion Park dealer's. Seredipitously, at that very moment, an order had been cancelled for a car which had just been delivered. There it was, grubby from its trip from the wharves, but available to the first person who said "I'll take it". We had 5 minutes to decide.....it was the one we wanted: white and the non-hi-tech model. We said the words and it was ours. That was in October 2007, and we are very happy with our decision.

Our Prius has fulfilled its promise of delivering cleaner air, fuel economy, performance and quietness. We also think it looks great, and it's very comfortable - even for 4 adults and luggage on a  trip to Adelaide. We have just passed the 40,000 km mark (March 08), with no problems or replacements, although the 2 front tyres will need replacing soon (fair enough). It's also economical to have serviced ( same as the Corolla ).

We have come in at around or under  5 litres / 100km consistently, and would probably do even better with more city driving. It's a good ( Oh what a ) feeling.
