In 2008 and 2009 the Rotary Jaltemba supported 18 students with scholarships to cover their tuition at Conalep our local High School.

These students form a committee at Conalep and through this committee they perform community service.  Their first project is to improve the recycling of plastics in the school.

The social service committee meets regularly with the students to check on their progress.
