About Me

I am currently in my sixth year of teaching. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 1999 with a B.S.Ed. in education. Since graduation, I have added a high school social science certification to my license, and am currently pursuing a master's degree in School Administration through Western Carolina. I look forward to finishing my degree this year and celebrating a graduation this upcoming August. As part of my role as a Graham County educator, I am a co-sponsor of the RHS Junior Trip. For the past several years, the trip has included a visit to Washington D.C. and New York City. It is a wonderful experience for our students, and I enjoy the opportunity to help provide it for them. Not only do I enjoy teaching and continuing my education, I am also a wife and proud mother of three children.
