Notes About Our Classes

Math Matters...
In Geometry we are focusing on surface areas and volumes of solids. In Algebra 1, we are learning how to graph quadratic equations, using 3 different methods.
 
The World of World Studies...

The last unit of the year is entitled "The World since 1945" and is a series of mini-units on topics like India, China, Africa, and Genocides since 1945. 

 

English Essentials...
English 9 is nearing the end of Romeo & Juliet and Honors English 9 has just begun the play.  Be sure to check Mrs. Abate's website to see dates for the quizzes over the acts of the play.  
 

Science Spot:
