 A group of alumni and students from IITs have instituted an annual event "I-DESIRE" dedicated to S. K. Dubey. It is a four day workshop held every year in Patna, Bihar, to help, inspire, motivate, guide and provide useful guidance to poor and uninformed students of Bihar from rural areas, aspiring to become engineers.
