Favorite Web Pages: or at least ones I use often

Not in any particular order, just a list. NOTE: no "Adult" sites included on this list, except with a warning note, but other links from these sites I have no control over.  Later I may have links which may lead to adult images and discussions, but that will not be their primary purpose (Some Social Networks, Bars, Publications, Radio Stations, Cable TV shows, etc. with Rochester Connections have some promotional links with adult sites or advertising or people post adult images and text inappropriately in comment pages)

Has many features on the web page - news, music, editorials, pictures, much more including hundreds of other online Radio and HD Radio station listening links. http://www.wxxi.org - AM-FM-TV-Cable and Internet - WXXI is multi-media, Public Radio and TV with streaming radio of multiple stations on the internet. Education and Entertainment 24 hours a day - (10/08)

http://www.spywarewarrior.com - Find out about Spyware, Fake Anti-Spyware programs, other security issues, and how to fix problems caused by them. Not fully updated a lot recently, the links are very helpful (10/08)

http://www.ebay.com - You may just find It here - If you can’t find “it” ask for “it” in the request area - that sometimes works! The biggest Garage Sale and Store on the Internet. There are other features such as forums too. Warning Note, if you get an account, and ask for adult permission, there are adult items for sale with photos.(10/08)

http://www.soundbytes.org - The longest running computer show on radio (or any other known medium) in the universe. Live on Sunday, on-line and on WHAM Radio, archived on-line for later playback. On Second Life on Friday Night (9 to 11 PM or so) and late Sunday morning when there is a Buffalo Bills game scheduled, and the Radio Show is only a recording online starting just after the Bills Game starts, not on the air. As of Oct 2008. (I was in the forums, lost membership in 2007- password was deactivated several times now - you need an account to post info.)(10/08)

Made By Monks! See their Website for more information. Also available in many local grocery stores, as well as at their location. New Updated Website (May 2009)

http://www.msdewey.com - Another search engine - very graphics intensive - sometimes funny - nice to look at - but needs good a graphics display and a speedy connection to work properly. The answers are sometimes quite different than Google or Yahoo, so are the jokes - it makes fun of your quest for knowledge. Uses Audio for the commentary, which can be muted.(10/08) Seems to be gone as of 2009.

http://www.upcdatabase.com - Look up a UPC code to see who made the product, and what else they make, look up a product to see a UPC code sample, learn what UPC codes really are, and their new names. This is what those bar codes and funny numbers are on many products. Almost 1 million products listed, and this is a Hobby and Volunteer Website! Find out what you can still use a Cue Cat for!
