To become a starting point for the user - so you can find out where to go and what there is to do - in Rochester and Western NY

- Links that would be found in a personal favorites website file of someone who has been researching Rochester for years.

- Advertising and Suggestions from Readers of the site.

- Events that may not be found listed elsewhere or are hard to find, will also be listed here.

There are so many Events lists in Rochester that it would take all day just to look at the next weeks events on all of them.

Starting with

 - computer related information sections, for the local events, services, meetings.

 - with guides to using and fixing computers, as well as making web pages

 - more coming here first, to go on the actual website later.

Where to find it in Rochester - Rochester Site Information Index

- and vicinity. Entertainment, Education, Informational Websites and other - as a Google List page - Many people have tried to do similar informational pages! Pages of National websites that refer to Rochester information included above until I have too many and have to separate. I have records of some other pages which tried to be an encyclopedia or index of Rochester (or larger areas) but no longer exist or no longer have information about Rochester.  I might make a page of my "whatever happened to...." list again, which I started to work on about 5 years ago - lowest priority for me, and probably belongs on RocWiki.

Clean Your Computer - Remove Malware - mostly done
- need more specific directions, screenshots of programs in new pages.

XP SP3 update fix - redone - with Vista comment too
- I had to use this again this week, this time on a nearly new Dell Laptop.

Privacy Policy - do not need it yet - I collect no info unless you email me - otherwise whatever Google sees.

Terms of Use - just use it.

Food Obsession - Rochester Food sources, and outside Rochester information - restaurants and shops, other food related.
- Needs more editing before putting online - with commentary on sites found.

- note that the food and information sites cross purposes as information is duplicated.

Food and Restaurants in the Rochester Area - pages will include:
- Greater Rochester,  Western NY State, All of NY State, New York City, Elsewhere, because some of the sites are worldwide.

Where to find employment, Job sites, training, make resumes, applications, and warnings of scams (fake jobs)

  - overlaps the Rochester Informational and educational websites, some of which offer employment information.

Government, Political and Religious Information sites - some on Rochester Information already.
