Introducing a New Therapy for Incontinence

Therapy for Incontinence in Women and Men There are over 200 surgeries designed to cure women with incontinence, most of which result in minimal benefits with messy side effects including the buildup of debilitating scar tissue. In fact, only one in three surgeries performed is considered successful. There are also many drugs prescribed to help relieve the problem. These drugs need to be purchased and used for the rest of the patient's life. The side effects of these pharmaceuticals has been alarming, including loss of memory. This, in an area where one in eight women suffer from "incidents" of incontinence, is considered wholly inadequate. The therapy involves wearing Magnetic Insoles, known as "Mag-Steps", in your shoes. While seemingly benign, these Mag-Steps have been shown to significantly increase the power of voluntary striated muscles groups. Golfers have known the secret for years, wearing the Mag-Steps to improve their swing. These Mag-Steps have been shown to increase the closing pressure of the uretha, in some cases doubling it. The patient wears the magnetic insoles in their shoes, and when they feel as though they might lose urine, they perform a Knack Manuever, which is simply a strong contraction of the pelvic floor, in essence a single, strong Kegel's exercise. To try and convince the medical community the benefits the Mag-Steps have had for women with incontinence, a doctor and researcher conducted a double blind study of women who suffered from stress incontinence, and showed there was a statistically significant number of women who greatly increased their urethral closing pressure while in a magnetic field generated by the Mag-Steps, thus allowing them to retain their urine. In fact the study was so successful, all patients tested showed a significant increase in closing pressure. A .PDF version of the study is available HERE. While wearing the Mag-Steps, a patient will notice a remarkable increase in their own ability to stay "incident free". The patient need only purchase the Mag-Steps once, from any reputable manufacturer, making sure that the magnets have a rating of at least 800 gauss. The Diagrams and Images section has some helpful information about the bladder and causes of incontinence. There is also an Instructional Video to promote education for this new therapy. We have provided links to several manufacturers of the Mag-Steps. Once Again We are not affiliated with any of them and only wish to get the word out about this helpful, low-cost therapy. Disclaimer:
