The MA Program in Mental Health Counseling, Forensic Concentration, at Westfield State University prepares students for jobs that address the mental health needs of offender populations. Our curriculum is designed to offer specialized training in theory, assessment, and treatment, and will provide students with applied experience in criminal justice settings. Students interested in research or in continuing their graduate education have the opportunity to complete a thesis or independent study project. Upon graduation, students will be prepared for licensure in mental health counseling.
