Van Wieren designer Materials: Size 30 crochet cotton Small bit of stuffing.( about the size of the tip of your pinkie ) Cut 4 - 24" lengths of crochet cotton before starting. This will be referred to as PC in the directions. 7- 10 small petals 4-6 medium petals Small petals Ch 17 Row 1) hdc in second ch from hook, hdc in each st across. Ch 2 , turn Row 2) 2 hdc in each st across. Ch 2 ,turn. Rows 3-5) 1 hdc in each st across. Ch 2, turn, Row 6) (hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st) repeat ( ) across. Ch 2, turn. Rows 7-10) hdc across. ch 2, turn. Cut thread. Row 11) Join in 1st ch of beg. Ch. Working over PC. work 2 sc in side of each hdc to top, 1 sc in each st across to other side of petal. Work 2 sc in side of each hdc to bottom fasten off. (this side will be right side. Using PC pull petal into shape. For 1st petal right side facing away from you roll around a small bit of stuffing to make center. Tack in place. All subsequent petals roll around center with right side towards you. This is where creativity starts add as many as you like 7-10 then add medium petals. If you want add large petals. Medium petals Work starts with ch 22. Then repeat rows 1-11 of small petal.
