Adding Multiple Documents

You can add multiple documents to the library all at once using the 'Add Multiple Documents' link in the sidebar and in the library browser.  When you click these links, you will be taken to a form that offers three fields:

  1. Category

    Use this field to select the category that will contain these documents. All documents uploaded will be placed into this category.

  2. Domain

    Use this field to set which domain has access to the files.  You can later edit the domains manually for each file as necessary

  3. Documents

    This is a Java applet that allows you to select multiple files from your local hard drive to upload.  Click the "Browse..." button (on Windows) to select those files you want to upload.  They will appear in the list of files along with some basic information about each.  Now click on the 'Upload' button to begin the upload process.  If everything went well you will be redirected to a page that lists all the documents that were uploaded along with links to each.

Note that the default names for each document is the same as the original filename for that document.  Also, remember that you can edit multiple documents at once by simplying adding them to your briefcase, viewing your briefcase and then editing all documents.
