AIM:The main purpose of the workshop is to foster international cooperation in the area of Harmonic Mappings and Hyperbolic Metrics, a recent flourishing   topic in mathematics, and to motivate further interaction among Indian experts in Geometric Function Theory with a wide range of function theorists various other countries. The workshop will concentrate on Harmonic Mappings and Hyperbolic Metrics and the role played by them in function theory. The primary emphasis of the workshop will be on promoting collaborating research work involving all the potential participants. In the workshop the theme Harmonic Mappings and Hyperbolic Metrics will be introduced to participants through a series of lectures on this topic by globally renowned experts.

BROADER IMPACTS: The workshop will provide an opportunity for fruitful interaction among researchers   from several countries, particularly for participants
from   developing nations with valuable scientific and cultural exchanges.

INTELLECTUAL MERIT: The main speakers of the workshop are distinguished peers in the field of Complex Analysis, in particular in the subject of the workshop. Their lectures will highlight the intricacy between various applications of Harmonic Mappings and Hyperbolic Metrics and will act as a catalyst for further collaborative efforts.

MAIN TOPICS: Recent developments in harmonic mappings, quasiregular mappings, hyperbolic metrics, and their applications.
