The Main Event

The Main Event is our weekly Friday night meeting where the whole chapter has the opportunity to come together and invite friends for an evening of learning or service. This semester we will be featuring 4 different styles of meeting, as described here:

Seeker Meeting: Our Campuses are filled with people seeking spiritual nourishment and fulfillment. These meetings will engage the minds and hearts of students by focusing on a specific topic and emphasizing it through artistic performances. Bring your Christian and non-Christian friends alike!

Debate: We will be holding one debate (Theism vs. Atheism) with respected individuals on both sides. Our hope is to get people thinking about what they believe and why.

Relevant Issues: The teachings found in the bible are still applicable in 2009. In the context of current issues we'll explore how God's word is still the answer for the world today.

Service and outreach: Through serving our campuses we can show the love of Christ in active and practical ways. At these meetings, teams of volunteers will go out on the campus(es) to serve students/community.
