There are weekly prayer meetings located on both Clarkson and Potsdam campus. These hour-long prayer meetings are a great chance to get together and pray with others about personal, local, national, or international issues. Philipians 4:6-7 describes the importance of prayer: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Just like communication is important in any relationship, prayer is vital in our relationship with Jesus Christ. God wants to hear what we have to say and will answer our prayers. We shouldn't forget to praise him either, for the wonderful things he does in our lives everyday. "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:19-20) If you have an hour between classes or just need a break to go pray with other Christians, below are the times and places you can do so.
