New Student Outreach

New Student Outreach (NSO) teams exist on both the Clarkson and the Potsdam campuses; each team is led by an NSO coordinator. NSO's goal is to get new students acquainted with IVCF -- we want to welcome them into the IV family and get them involved! If you look carefully, you can see NSO team members wandering around campuses smiling at strangers, laughing a great deal (this one is easy to hear, actually), sitting at tables in Cheel or somewhere on Potsdam's campus, and organizing NSO events.

What?! NSO events?? Yep, you heard right! This fall NSO is hosting a number of events for new students, including grilling/pizza (free food!), ice-cream-sundaes-after-the-first-Clarkson-meeting (cold food!), apple picking (fresh food!), and going on a hike (bring your own food!). Here's a brief list:

Saturday 3 October: Apple picking! (Everybody)
Saturday 21 November Annual Thanks Giving Dinner

So get yourself to our events (have some food!), get involved, and get excited about IV!

Any questions about NSO events should be directed to Killian Meehan (Kmeehan1@rochester.rr.com) for events at Potsdam and Jamie Davis (squid.ore@gmail.com) for events at Clarkson.
