Too productive for your own good?
The Iversonian array languages (APL, J, kdb, q) are so productive that we almost all work either alone or in very small teams. We rarely benefit from the professional cross-fertilisation that is routine in big-team languages.

Our work is mobile, so we are packing it on our laptops and bringing it to Cambridge University this summer. This is not a conference but a week (2-8 September) living and working among array-language colleagues.

We will be a party of twenty-five with student accommodation at Trinity Hall, Cambridge: meals in college, wifi in our rooms and in our common work room. No schedule, but meals together, talks after dinner if we want them – and use of the college punts.

We will have one day as a play day, perhaps to bicycle out into the country for a picnic. We will have a formal dinner in Hall on Fri 7. We will entertain visitors from Microsoft Research Cambridge.
