About

Biography

I'm bassist, pianist and composer, born 1983. I studied classical piano and played it in different bands, started playing the bass in the age of 15. I have performed in many bands in the Czech republic and abroad (see Projects).

In 2009/2010 I studied the bassguitar at the Jaroslav Jezek Jazz College in Prague. In 2010 I was accepted to Berklee College of Music and received a significant scholarhip. Instead of attending the college, I decided to move to New York. In 2011 I lived in NYC where I was taking private lessons from John Patitucci, Hans Glawishnig and John Benitez, among others.

I play the Fodera bass guitars (6-string Anthony Jackson Double Cutaway and 5-string Emperor fretless), Eden WT-880 amplifier and Schroeder-Cabinets 1212L and 10L.
