Welcome to the 'wiki' site for the Freshwater Biodiversity Assessments in
the Western Ghats project. This site is a 'wiki', which means you can update and contribute to the content of the site, e.g. upload documents, ask questions, add news items or join in with the discussions. However, you can use this site as a 'website' and just read the pages and download any relevant documents. We ask that if you are going to make any major changes to the general text in this site that you let me (kevin.smith@iucn.org) know first.
It is designed to be used by all project partners and species assessors to keep intouch with the project and hopefully solve any problems that may arise.
Please use the links on the left to navigate through the site, there are sections on
- Contacts (contact details of everyone involved in the project)
- Tasks to be done (shows what activities are currently ongoing and when they need to be completed)
- Questions and answers (allows people to ask questions and find answers to questions already asked)
- Files (all files related to the project are stored here and can be downloaded)
- Project calendar (shows the timelines for all activities for the project)
- News (shows all the news items for the project)
- Photos (a page to upload and download any photos relevant to the project - workshops, species, habitat etc.)
