Origin of the IT Service CMM

The IT Service CMM is an idea of prof. Hans van Vliet.

The IT Service CMM version L2-1.0 has been developed during the Kwintes project. Partners in this project were:

Cap Gemini (now Cap Gemini Ernst & Young),
Twijnstra Gudde,
the Computer and Software Centre of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration,
Delft Technical University,
Eindhoven Technical University, and
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

The Kwintes project was sponsored by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Bureau Senter (project number ITU-96024).

The model description was written by Frank Niessink. The development of version L2-1.0 has been guided by the Kwintes IT Service CMM Review Board consisting of: Gerrit Matser, Rob Akershoek, Willem Bor, Ben Kooistra, Frank Eggink, and Alexander Westra (Cap Gemini); Yolanda Louwinger, Johann Schreurs, and Toos Lubbers (Tax and Customs Computer and Software Centre); and René Hombergen (Twijnstra Gudde).
