- What do you like talking about?
- What job would you take even if you wouldn't get paid for doing it?
- What do your friends always come to you for advice about?
- Decide what you hope to accomplish with your podcast
- Teach a "how to..." course
- spice up your blog
- Increase sales for your business
- Look at the market
- How many people do you hope to reach?
- How much competition will you have?
- Practice good recording practices
- Do's
• Use a good microphone
in a quiet, undisturbed
room. Any $10 microphone will work--it is important that you NOT use the one built into your computer, as it will pick up the noises coming from your computer.
• Use a headset to monitor
your voice, or else you will get feedback from the microphone
• Speak clearly
- Don'ts
• Avoid using a generic wide range microphone.
• Turn off your computer
speakers when recording
to avoid feedback
