- As a team, talk about this. Next, pick a single topic to collaborate and research together. It will be the 5 best "your topic" in the bay area - pick something like places to eat, surf, visit a park, or where to get a great burger or an authentic pizza. Pick something simple that will give you easy searchable results.
- The blue bird opens a new document, name it, save or rename it with your 5best+lastname+lastname
- Share it with the red bird and with the instructor(s)
- Write the topic choice at the top of the page.
- Click on Table: insert table: 10 rows, 2 columns (keep Columns of equal width checked)
- Title one column blue bird+name, the other red bird+name
- Now let the race begin to fill in your column
- Brainstorm in your column a list of what you think are the best of your topic.
- Next, get together and talk. Brainstorm a list of key words you can use for research. Make the list somewhere on your document
- Now it's time to prove it! You will have to prove your choice is the best.
- Watch this video about searching the web
- Research and save your notes in Docs and your url link in your table
- Finished with research? Have a talk with your partner and discuss how you will show what you know about your topic - convince your audience!
