is an essential component for the 21st century! You will work with peers in many ways but earn an individual grade. In class collaboration will be evaluated by the instructor during class.Additionally, collaborative projects are encouraged in this class. The assessment of collaborative projects will be considered by individual participation and structure of the team work. This means you are graded on the effective strategies you and your teammate devise and how you share the burden of the work. A written narrative will be required by each member of the team.You must attend every class session: 2/20, 2/23, 3/9, 3/23 Class sessions missed due to excused absences require completion of assigned activities to receive full credit for this course. |

Blogging and Posting to the Google Group Final assessment: March 23, 2009.Two forms of participation are required: in classroom exercises and online participation which includes: attendance to every meeting, posting weekly to your blog (minimum 4 new blog posts), posting comments to Group discussions (4 postings) , reading and commenting to at least 3 classmate blogs each week (total 12 comments). - Blog postings due: 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17
- Comments to at three blogs due: 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20
- Google Group discussion 4 postings per your interest

Classroom Lesson Project and Final Presentation. DUE: March 23, 2009Before the due date, you are to design and teach a technology enhanced lesson(s) aligned to California content and ISTE student and teacher standards. The lesson project must include principles of learning from this class. Lesson projects are encouraged to demonstrate the essentials of backward planning and inquiry. The publish the lesson content is due by the beginning of the last class session (March 23rd) on a Google site. Final Presentation An oral presentation and show your wiki. Embedded examples of student learning is highly encouraged. |
