Classroom Lesson Project and Final Presentation. 

DUE: March 23, 2009

Before the due date, you are to design and teach a technology enhanced lesson(s) aligned to California content and ISTE student and teacher standards. The lesson project must include principles of learning from this class. Lesson projects are encouraged to demonstrate the essentials of backward planning and inquiry. The publish the lesson content is due by the beginning of the last class session (March 23rd) on a Google site. 

Final Presentation An oral presentation and show your wiki. Embedded examples of student learning is highly encouraged.

Build A Collaborative Website

This Monday, we will learn how to use the Google web site building 
tool called Sites. You will have time to work on this site in class, 
so if you have any digital handouts or student materials, bring them 
on a Flash memory stick. 

This is the Site you will use as part of your final presentation. 

Credit no credit option - Deadline March 20th

March 20th is the deadline to decide for credit or no credit. You will need to log in with your SFSU ID number and personal access code. The class is listed under CEL. College of extended learning. You will get this number and code from the SFSU website. http://sfsu.edu 

Additional Directions
Below are instructions for students using "My SFSU" (https://www.sfsu.edu/online/login.htm )  to change grading option:
1.) SFSU ID Numbers (UINs):
Students first need to know their University Identification Number (UIN) as well as their SF State Password. Those who do not know or have forgotten their UIN, can look it up using their SSN and date of birth using the "Look Up SFSU ID" webpage:

2.) SF State Password:
(now used in place of Personal Access Codes (PACs)):
New and former students will need to set up an SF State password through one of the following three methods online at:

3.) Students can request Credit/No Credit through My SFSU online at:

*TIP: Once you have logged in, be sure to select "Fall 2008/EXTENDED LEARNING" from the drop-down menu next to "Credit/No Credit Option" before clicking the "go" button. It automatically defaults to "Regular University" for the current semester.
*Deadline to request credit/no credit is: Friday, March 20th.
*Reminder: All students can also view their class schedule, unofficial transcripts, and grades through My SFSU with their UIN and PAC.

Homework - TWO THINGS!  (1 ) Post to your blog a week before our next class. (Feb 23rd) 
Pick at least one activity from our Google lessons or use a Thinkfinity or hippocampus activity and use it with your students. The goal is to use it or show it with your students or (teachers) and reflect what happened when you did on your Blog. If you do more than one, you will learn more too. (2) Read and post to the Groups discussion at least once.
