Hello again everybody. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Twenty-six members came to our November meeting to socialize. Thank you all for coming. Attendance at the November meeting was again lower than we would like. I repeat my request for you to contact me if you have any concerns about attending our meetings, I would like to hear from you.
As a reminder, there will be no formal business meeting for the month of December. We will instead have our monthly meeting at the Christmas party. The Christmas Party will be on Friday night, December 18th at 6 p.m. at the Sportsman’s Club. Let us all have fun and wish each other a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We have a new advertiser for our newsletter, John G. Abbamondi, Attorney at Law…thanks John! A number of members were asking about Carla and Andrew and how they were doing. As an update, they had another baby boy…that makes four. I would like to thank Diane Powers for her presentation about the Discovery Toys Company and for the fund rising efforts for the Club.
I received an e-mail from Maria Chobany of the Italian Club of Dallas and they have offered to come up to Oklahoma City and present a workshop to teach Italian folk dances. If you have an interest in learning Italian folk dances, or if you'd like to get a group started, please let me know. The Dallas Club also wanted us to get a group together and come to Dallas to visit them. Let me or Dino know if you are interested in going to Dallas.
We have a lot going on at the ICO. Spread the word and tell them to come to the December Christmas Party.
