The Information Technology Academy is a California Partnership Academy designed to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Students in this program enter a course of study (commonly referred to as a "school within a school") to learn about the Information Communication Technology business sector, with emphases on computer networking and programming.

Students and teachers in the academy utilize technology to solve real world problems, learn how to work in teams, investigate using the scientific method, think critically and multi-dimensionally, and learn about the entrepreneurial spirit.
