There has been much progress since our last communication and the program is rapidly evolving to include both traditional events as well as new events. We have more than 120 alumni already committed to attending, and we have plenty of more room for the any and all who can make the trek to California! Don’t miss it because everybody will be talking about this one for years to come!
The preliminary schedule has something that everyone will like, but there is still room for the development of many more activities as the community demands. Our activities include a Space Leaders Forum with some of the most influential leaders in today’s space industry, a VC coaching panel in conjunction with ISU’s International Institute of Space Commerce, a special reception with a key-note speaker you will not want to miss.
But don’t forget that the traditional social activities are also included as well as many opportunities to explore all that California has to offer.
The poster session is open to all who would like to present a topic of their choice. From your company objectives or recruiting to personal research, we encourage you to bring a poster to share with your alumni and SSP students. The posters will also be available to the entire NASA Ames Research community, so this is your chance to showcase the best and brightest that you and your companies have to offer. Please register with us so that we know to reserve a space for you.
So, please, save the dates! We look forward to seeing you this summer, and would especially appreciate anybody who would like to become involved in the development of the ISU Alumni Meeting 2009: Silicon Valley. For inquires and offers of help, please feel free to contact us at: ISUAlumMeet09@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Lauren Fletcher and Jessica Culler on behalf of: The Organizational Committee ISU Alumni Meeting 2009: Silicon Valley |
