Our Tours:

Ireland - Our Ireland tours offer a week in the Republic of Ireland and/or a week in Northern Ireland with Dublin and Belfast city tours, coach tours in the country-side, and research assistance at archives. 

Scotland - Our Scotland week includes an Edinburgh city tour, the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle, a three-day coach tour of the Highlands and eastern Scotland fishing villages, a traditional Scottish dinner night, and research assistance at the Scottish National Archives and National Library.

London - Our week in London includes the London Pass (with admittance to over 50 of London's most popular sights and hop-on-hop-off transportation), a guided city tour, a London theater night, and research assistance at The National Archives and other London record repositories.

Wales - Our days in Wales (an optional part of the London week) include a train ride into the beautiful mountains and research assistance at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.   

Our Tour Directors:

Gordon and Carolyn Casper:  Since 1984, Gordon and Carolyn have been conducting annual tours to the British Isles with an option for family history research.  Gordon has been a faculty member at Brigham Young University where he and Carolyn were instructors for Elderhostel family history programs for many years.  They are currently family history instructors for the International Elderhostel program through Utah Valley University.  

2010 will be Gordon and Carolyn's last tour to the British Isles!

Barbara Baker:  Barbara has worked as a British Reference consultant at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah for 25 years.  Barbara is accredited in English research (ICAPGen) and is an experienced professional genealogist and family history instructor.
