Okay Everyone, Right now it’s going to be another "Pick your own day" LAN, cast your vote here: October Lan Dates Also, the Games Poll has been reset, don’t forget to vote for your favorite game here: Games Poll
Edit: Finalized Lan Info will be posted on September 18 2009. But for right now here are the details I have. This LAN has a 50/50 chance of being an all night LAN, if it is indeed an all night LAN it will be hosted at a location other then the Fire Department. |

Greetings everyone, Here is the updated info on the next LAN, The next LAN will be hosted Feb 28th at the Kochville Fire Department. as always this is an Non-Profit / Non Prize lan. From the looks of it its going to be a small LAN, so if you haven't now would be the time to check in with a LAN coordinator, or just check in via the Leave a Comment. It looks like Its another LEFT4DEAD LAN, but since as always this is prone to change. That's all for now, see you there. |

Greetings everyone! The LAN is over and we consider it a success. Although we did play Call Of Duty (both Modern Warfare and World at War) at the start of the LAN, after such a long-long-long time Call Of Duty has been bumped out of the spotlight and a new game has taken its place...can you guess what it is? Big ol' hint right up there....
Yup LEFT 4 DEAD has taken the lead and won the people’s hearts--in a zombie slaughtering, team play focused, survivor kind of way. Even the polls we have didn't anticipate anything like this! Technically overall LAN attendance was up by two people, but it stayed at our crappy average of six people (laptop graphics failing, another guy had to go to work). In the end though this proved to be a good thing, since co-op Left 4 Dead became the mainstay of the LAN. Normally at each LAN we set up a projector to watch a movie, but this time the game-play became a movie! One of our LAN crew (who was hosting the LEFT 4 DEAD server) hooked into the projector so everyone could share in the fun; however we hope for the next LAN we'll have versus mode ready to go.
Of course there is a buzz kill to all this success.. and that was heat. The hi-end computers present and Michigan weather being was it is, the LAN was cut about an hour and a half short due to computers overheating; some even blue screened. So instead of ending at midnight the LAN ended at about 10:30.
All in all this was a great LAN, and we definitely look forward to doing this again! For those wondering about the roster for the LAN, click here. -David

Okay Everyone Here it is the final Lan Information
Location
The LAN will be hosted at the Kochville Fire station in
there training room Saturday from Noon until midnight, setup will be from noon untill 1pm. As for parking, we are to park in the back
lot, directly behind the fire station, someone will be at the door on that side
to let you in. A quick side note, the fire station doubles as a sheriff outpost,
so please respect all police vehicles in the parking lot.
GAMES
Okay as we all know not everyone can play any game out there, so here is a breakdown of what we can expect to play depending on turnout. Call Of Duty Should be a given, as well Quake.
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Call of Duty: World at War
- Lower End Games
- Call Of Duty: United Offensive
- Half Life
- Quake II/III
- Unreal Tournament
- Unreal Tournament 2k3/2k4
Rules
Yea I know I'm being a buzz kill but rules are rules, Right
now the use of the Fire department training room is free, we have free use of a
kitchen and a full men’s bathroom, so we don’t charge anything for getting
into the LAN and we would like to keep it that way! So here are some guidelines
to follow, so LANs can keep on being free.
- NO REAL / REALISTIC / FAKE
WEAPONS!
- NO ALCOHOL.
- NO MESSING AROUND WITH ANY FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT.
- DO NOT MESS WITH ANYONE'S
COMPUTER BUT YOUR OWN.
- NO MENTOS AND DIET COKE.*
- DO NOT DRINK ANYONE ELSE'S
DRINK / EXPECT TO BUY YOUR OWN DRINKS. **
* Due to a past incident mentos and Diet Coke are not
allowed Near the vehicles
** From time to time the ISNLAN crew might provide Drinks for you, do not
assume this as a fact, always ask before you crack into that 2litter |

Only four more days till the LAN! Expected Games- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Call of Duty: World at War
- Quake III
- Unreal Tournament
This list may change with the moment--but whatever the case, there will be means to install these games and others. Setup is often from noon to one, depending on attendance and current setup--the sooner you arrive the better! |
