I am so thrilled to be working at Isely in this capacity! Wichita has been my home for over 18 years. I earned my Bachelors degree in Education at Wichita State University in 2002. I taught 5th grade at Mueller Elementary for 6 years, two of those years I job shared to stay home with my daughter. While at Mueller I was the 5th grade team facilitator for 4 years, chaired Building Committee for 3 years, completed the district's technology STEPs classes as well as the Intel Teach to the Future program, executed the Improving Learning Through Technology grant, coordinated Student Technology Leadership team as co-sponsor, lead building and district trainings as a Clicker Master Teacher and received a Good Apple award. I continue to lead technology sessions during New Staff Orientation. My first Masters is in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University which I received in 2006. I am continuing my education by currently taking classes online through Pittsburg State University working towards a Masters in Educational Technology: Library Media Licensure.

My husband and I were married in 2003 and my daughter was born in 2006. I enjoy scrap booking, spending time with family and friends, doing activities with my daughter, traveling (we've taken family vacations to St. Louis, Washington D.C., Yellowstone, and the big one: London, Paris and Brussels in 2008) and enjoying all that Wichita has to offer!
