Educational design and development includes all elements of teaching and
learning environments: learner and educator materials, educator and
administrator professional development, assessments, and policies. It is within
our scope to transform learning of science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics. In addition to our continuing goal of sharing and discussing
strong educational designs, we will take up the charge of how we can
orchestrate such a transformation using new collaborations, new communities,
new processes, new technologies, new designer apprenticeship models, and new
policies regarding design and development.
