In association with Flumserberg Schweizer Skischule & Snowboardschule, the ISCZ organises a ski school, operated by the Skischulleiter, Vali Gadient and his team of qualified, English speaking instructors. It is suitable for all levels of skiers, for both adults and children aged 4 or over.
Location
Flumserberg, situated above Flums at the eastern end of the Walensee.

January Ski & Snowboard School 2012
Class format - four consecutive Saturdays or four consecutive Sundays
The Ski School will take place over 4 Saturdays in January: 7, 14, 21 and 28
and 4 Sundays: 8, 15, 22 and 29

Class Schedule
All classes run from 09:45 – 15:00 , with approximately one hour for lunch (restaurants chosen by individual instructors)

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that when purchasing the relevant ski pass for children, that you carry a form of identification for the child, providing evidence of their date of birth. |

Discount cards
4 discount cards (one for each week) are issued to members over 6 years old, on the ski school registration evening. They are only valid on the ski school weekends!!!
Where and how to use? 1. Swiss rent a sport shop by the Flumserberg Tannenbodenalp lift station: Presentation of your card in the swiss rent a sport shop entitles you to 10% reduction on the renting / buying of skis and other equipment for payment made by cash, PostCard or EC card.
2. Lift tickets: Handing over your discount cards at the counters of the lift company in Flumserberg Tannenbodenalp, Tannenheim and Madils or in Unterterzen entitles you to a 1 day lift ticket at a reduced rate. (Identity cards for confirmation of age may have to be shown). Remember to rent skis before purchasing your ticket, as the Bergbahnen keep your discount cards. On the first day of the ski school absolute beginners do NOT require life passes. Regarding children please check with Flumserberg Skischule.

Kindergarten Childcare (Kleinkinderbetreuung)

· Minimum age 2 years
· Diapers will not be changed
· Price per child Half day CHF 32.- Morning and afternoon CHF 52.- Lunchtime incl.meal + CHF 25.-

FIRST DAY INSTRUCTIONS
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the ski school, or are new to skiing, please take this information with you on your first day (Saturday or Sunday). LEAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO REACH FLUMSERBERG!
Meeting Point : On the snow by the Flumserberg Skischule signs at 9:35 , complete with appropriate clothing and equipment, and lift passes (if necessary)
Lift passes: Absolute beginners do NOT require life passes. Regarding children please check with Flumserberg Skischule.
Transport: Options
- Drive all the way to the parking at Tannenbodenalp (1400m)
Chains obligatory in bad weather
- Drive to the Railway Station or Post Office in Flums, and take the Post Bus up to Tannenbodenalp
Obligatory option if car parks on the mountain are already full
- Train to Flums, connecting Post Bus up to Tannenbodenalp
- Train to Unterterzen, connecting cable car to Tannenbodenalp – there is a high speed gondola from Untertertzen
