General Policy:

      ·   Participation is intended for young scientists from any country
      ·   Working language is English
      ·   Students will attend lectures classes, discussion groups, and hand-on workshops (laboratory part)
      ·   Registration includes lectures, materials, workshops and coffee-breaks
      ·   Accommodation is not included. However, the Organizers will be able to provide affordable dormitories for the School participants

Instructions:              

 

  • The registration form should be copied/pasted from the web-site and sent AS A TEXT MESSAGE (not as an attachment) by e-mail (isbs-2009@inbox.ru) to the Conference Organizing Committee.
  • Please indicate “SCHOOL REGISTRATION” as a subject of your message.
  • Once we received your registration payment, the registration confirmation will be sent to you.
  • Capacity is limited to 30 participants. Please register early.
  • Abstract submission is required for our 2009 School (you will receive instructions upon registration).
  • Organized groups: N/A (only individual registrations are accepted).

Registration fee:

·         Early registration (before Feb 28, 2009):            250.00 eur

·         Late registration (after Feb 28, 2009):                 300.00 eur

 

Reduced individual registration for scientists from countries with current economic difficulties (C.I.S. and selected African countries):

·         Early registration (before Feb 28, 2009):            70.00 eur

·         Late registration (after Feb 28, 2009):         100.00 eur

 

School Travel fellowships:

 

  • A limited number of ISBS-CPBR travel fellowships will be awarded by the Organizing Committee.
  • The fellowships will be awarded ONLY to selected young scientists <35 years who have already been registered for the School.
  • There is no application procedure for these fellowships. Selected candidates, based on needs and geography, will be notified by the Organizing Committee after April 1, 2009. 

Liability and Personal Data Protection:

  • Neither the School Organizers, nor its agents or representatives, will be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to the participants from any cause whatsoever.
  • Attendees shall obtain, at their own expense, adequate insurance against any such injury, loss or damage.
 Abstract Submission:
All abstracts must be written in English (1 page A4 in Word format, Times 12 pt, 1.5-spaced) and consist of the following sections:
1. Title of the abstract: ALL CAPITALS
2. Authors (e.g., AB Smith, DJ Kalm), presenting author always first
3. Organization(s): e.g., Texas State University, Texas, USA
4. Body (with mandatory sub-sections):
  Introduction:
  Methods:
  Results and discussion:
  Conclusion:

Important notes:
- Submitted papers cannot be edited or corrected.
- All authors must receive a written confirmation of their registration form and abstracts being received by the School Secretariat.
- NO TABLES, FIGURES OR REFERENCES!
- Deadline for submission of abstracts is March 20, 2009.
- Revisions of the abstracts by their authors (for clarity, style and language) may be requested by the Program Committee.
