Ms. Johnson's Bio

Rebecca Johnson is in her second year of teaching at Iroquois West.  She is currently the Band Director at the High School, Middle School, and Upper Elementary School, and also directs the Iroquois West Marching Raiders and the Middle School Jazz Band. 
 
Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor of Music from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008, where she played trombone in the Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble.  Ms. Johnson has also performed with the KMEA Intercollegiate Concert Band, KMEA All-State Band, and Pella Municipal Band. 
 
Ms. Johnson is engaged to marry Steven Kurk in June 2010. :)
