ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION I will need the following information email'd to one of the addresses at the bottom of the page. Name: Address: Age: Phone #: Interests: Type of bike:
|
1. You do not have to ride a Harley. Any cruiser style motorcycle that has a displacement of 850cc's or higher are acceptable. NO CROTCH ROCKETS! 2. Women are welcome in our club as long as they ride their own motorcycle, and their husband is a full patch member. Women will have to go through the same hangaround and prospect periods as everybody else. 3. Our members must stand up and help protect the 2nd ammendment, our right to bear arms. 4. Gun ownership is a requirement. Hunting and fishing is recommended as well.
5. Members must own a rideable motorcycle to maintain full patch status. No basket cases will be considered. Also, you cannot just borrow a bike from somebody to be considered a member. This goes for new members and old. If you don't have a bike, you don't wear the patch. Simple as that.
6. Members must not only OWN their motorcycle, they must RIDE their motorcycle. We don't want members who only put on the colors so they can look cool for a weekend ride. We take this very seriously. Once you're patched in you're not only an IRON HORN on the local poker runs every weekend... You're an IRON HORN every day of your life and we expect a certain amount of dedication to be involved with this. 7. We follow traditional MC protocol for "hangarounds" and "prospects". If you show interest in joining the club, you must first become a hangaround, then after a period of time, the club will vote to see if you're ready to become a prospect. Each prospect will be assigned a full patch sponsor, and it is up to the sponsor to determine when it's time to vote you into the club. You must receive 100% of the votes to become full patch. 8. If you quit the club on bad terms, you can never get back in.... that's final. If you have a family issue, personal issue or work issue that forces you into quitting, we'll consider reinstatement as soon as you resolve your issue. 9. All club matters are voted on by full patch members at the monthly or bi weekly meetings. Prospects have no voting privelages.
10. There is no set limit to the number of meetings you have to attend, but we do expect everybody to make the effort and be as dedicated as the next guy. See rule # 6 if you have any questions about this one.
11. We have one mandatory event that members must attend. 2012's event is our 4th annual Sandhills Poker Run, which takes place on July 28th.
