The USA Swimming experience is a new one for our IROCKETS swimmers, and paving the way this past weekend were Adam Lodewyk and Tori Pappalardo.  Adam and Tori qualified 2 weeks ago to swim at Regionals, a notable achievement for both of these young swimmers, and made IROCKETS proud with their performance at the NCAC Regionals.  Not only did they get to share in the excitement of swimming against their peers from all over Vermont, both Adam and Tori posted personal bests at the meet for all of their events, beating their times at the the GMA Invitational on January 31st (results posted below).

 

We were fortunate to meet up with our friends from St. Johnsbury's Hilltoppers team, including Coach Andy Barter, Lauren Urie, and Eli Barrett.  They showed us the ropes, made the event more fun, and helped wipe away anxiety and nervousness by making our swimmers feel comfortable and welcome.  We also want to thank Coach Andy in a big way for his guidance both to swimmers and parents.  It made all the difference for all of us.

 

Tori and Adam, we are very proud of your achievements and the way you represented the IROCKETS.  WAY TO GO!!!
