Monday Jan 5: Arrival in Dublin 8:30 a.m. Walking tour of Dublin with UWM’s professor John Gleeson.
Tues Jan 6: Morning Train to Corrymeela Centre in Ballycastle. Tues – Thurs Jan 6-8: Participate in Reconciliation Training Program and interact with Corrymeela Community Members. Trips to Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and Derry/Londonderry.
Friday Jan 9: Train to Belfast; Workshop with Centre for Contemporary Christianity in Ireland. Staying at Paddy’s Palace:
Sat-Sun January 10-11: Volunteer with cross-community reconciliation organizations in Belfast; worship in Protestant and Catholic Churches; celebration of the Sabbath
Monday January 12th: Travel to Downpatrick, Visit the St. Patrick Centre, travel to Dublin
Tuesday January 13: Debriefing and free time in Dublin
Wednesday January 14: Depart Dublin on American Airlines flight #92 at 10:30 a.m., arrive O’Hare at 12:35 p.m. , Coach USA bus to Milwaukee, arriving around 4:00 p.m. |
